About the service and your visit

How carbon laser facials compare with other services

A carbon lotion is applied to the skin as part of the laser procedure. If surface oil, congestion or the appearance of pores is your concern, discuss that with the practitioner so the available options can be assessed. A service name alone does not show which treatment is suitable for your skin, and an online appointment is not a guarantee that treatment will proceed.

Start with your skin concern

Tell the practitioner what you want to change, how long the concern has been present and which products or treatments you have tried. Ask what a carbon laser facial may realistically offer in your circumstances, how any change would be assessed and what alternatives are available. There is no promised result or fixed number of sessions for everyone.

This cosmetic service is not advertised as a cure for acne or a substitute for diagnosing a skin condition. Seek medical advice for persistent acne, an unexplained rash or a changing skin lesion rather than choosing a laser service to cover the concern. If you already have a diagnosis or care plan, explain it before deciding on another procedure.

Choose the treatment area and price

The menu has separate full-face, neck and décolletage entries. Choose the area you want assessed, and check whether your booking covers one area or a proposed combination. A listed price for the face should not be assumed to include the neck and chest.

If you want more than one area, ask the team to confirm the total charge and time needed before booking. Ask whether any additional appointment, product or course is being proposed and what it would cost. You can discuss a plan without assuming you need to purchase a series of sessions in advance.

Compare other skin services

Our microdermabrasion guide describes a separate exfoliation service. Radiofrequency skin tightening uses a different type of energy, while PicoWay laser is another laser service with its own assessment and booking options. They are not interchangeable names for the carbon laser facial.

Explain whether texture, pigmentation, firmness or another concern matters most to you. Ask which service is appropriate and why, including the expected cost and maintenance. Comparing options can help you make an informed booking, but this page cannot diagnose your skin or select a treatment on your behalf.

Suitability, preparation and laser safety

Suitability before treatment

Share recent sun exposure, sunburn, tanning products, relevant medicines, allergies and previous procedures with your practitioner. Tell them about pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin irritation, infection or tattoos in the proposed area. Suitability and timing require an individual assessment; do not stop prescribed medication based on a general website instruction.

If you have a particular preparation question, contact the team before booking. Tell them when another treatment took place and the aftercare you were given. A routine booking slot does not establish that procedures can be safely combined or performed close together.

Preparation and laser safety

Ask for preparation instructions for your skin and the actual treatment being proposed, including advice about tanning, makeup and active skincare. Tell the team if your skin or medication changes after the assessment. Confirm whether you should postpone rather than arriving with a new concern that has not been discussed.

Laser treatment can cause burns, pigment changes, scarring or eye injury. Follow the practitioner’s protective-eyewear instructions and report pain or an unexpected reaction during treatment. Ask about the device, practitioner training and relevant licensing. The Queensland Government’s guide to light-based cosmetic services explains general risks and questions to consider.

What to discuss at the appointment

Before agreeing to treatment, ask the practitioner to explain the proposed area, expected sensations, limitations, possible adverse effects and aftercare. Mention any history of reactions to lotions or previous laser sessions. Ask what happens if assessment shows the treatment is unsuitable and which charges, if any, apply to that visit.

You can ask questions, take time to consider the information or decide not to proceed. Tell the practitioner if you feel uncomfortable or do not understand a proposed step. Treatment should be based on an agreed plan rather than an assumption that the booking title covers every concern you raise.

Aftercare and when to seek help

Aftercare and concerns

Request the aftercare instructions for your actual procedure. Confirm when you may use makeup, restart active skincare, exercise, swim or have another skin treatment. Follow individual advice about sun protection. Do not assume fixed instructions for a different laser or facial apply to this appointment.

Contact the clinic about a concern and seek prompt medical advice for severe pain, blistering, an eye symptom or an unexpected worsening reaction. A breakout or worsening symptom should not automatically be dismissed as normal purging. The team can review a service concern; your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.

Enquire about a carbon laser facial at Reborn in Brisbane

A practical checklist for your enquiry

Include the clinic and area in your message: Annerley, with full face, neck, décolletage or a combination you want to discuss. Describe your main concern in your own words rather than selecting a treatment because its name sounds similar. Explain whether you are asking about a first assessment, a treatment appointment or a follow-up to a previous visit.

Include recent treatment dates and product names where relevant. If another practitioner has already given you instructions, tell the team what you were advised. Avoid sending a request that assumes you have already been cleared for a carbon laser facial; the practitioner needs to review the information for the procedure being considered.

For a price question, specify the treatment area and whether you are comparing a single session with a proposed course. Ask what is included, whether any additional items are optional and how the total is confirmed. For an availability question, include your preferred day or time so the team can direct you to the appropriate booking option.

Read your booking confirmation

After selecting an appointment, check the confirmation rather than relying only on the service page. Look for the Annerley location, appointment date, time and treatment name. If you expected a different area or a combined booking, contact the team to resolve that before travelling.

Keep any preparation instructions with the confirmation so you can refer to them again. Check how to make changes, what deposit or cancellation conditions are shown and whom to contact with a new skin concern. A message through the general contact form does not automatically change or cancel an existing reservation.

If the menu does not show an option you expected, ask the team rather than booking a different service as a placeholder. The wrong selection may reserve the wrong duration or require a separate assessment. If you need help choosing between services, request advice and wait for the team to confirm the appropriate next step.

Skincare and existing voucher credit

Browse skincare separately

Visit the Reborn online shop for product prices, directions, ingredients and delivery information. Ask your practitioner about products you plan to use before or after treatment. A product order does not reserve a clinic appointment.

Existing vouchers and account credit

New gift vouchers are no longer sold online. If you already hold a Reborn voucher or account credit, contact the team to confirm the balance, applicable conditions and how it can be applied before booking. Credit does not automatically reserve an appointment.

Questions before planning further sessions

Questions about a proposed treatment plan

If a practitioner proposes further visits, ask how the plan relates to the concern you described, what would be reviewed at follow-up and what each appointment costs. Discuss alternatives and the option to take time before deciding. There is no need to assume a generic course listed elsewhere is the right plan for you.

Tell the team if your priorities, products or circumstances change between visits. Keep a record of the advice you were given so preparation and aftercare can be checked at the next appointment. A previous carbon laser facial does not automatically establish suitability for another session, a new treatment area or a different procedure.

8 helpful booking questions

Where can I book a carbon laser facial?

Use the Annerley booking menu. The service is not offered at Fortitude Valley. Check your confirmation for 69 Juliette Street and contact the team if you need help selecting the treatment area.

Does the full-face price include my neck?

No combined area is implied. Full face, neck and décolletage are separately listed at $199 each. Ask for the total charge and appointment time if you want more than one area.

Will one appointment produce a permanent result?

No permanent result is promised. Ask the practitioner about realistic expectations, how changes would be assessed and whether further sessions are appropriate. Any proposed maintenance appointment has its own cost.

What if I have recently tanned or had another treatment?

Tell the team before your appointment, including dates and the area involved. The practitioner needs to assess suitability and timing. Do not rely on a generic waiting period as permission to proceed.

Can I use active skincare before or after the session?

Ask for instructions for the products and procedure involved. Disclose prescribed and non-prescribed skincare. Do not stop prescribed treatment without advice from your prescriber.

Is this included in the A$99 new-client offer?

No. The A$99 offer applies to the separate basic micro-needling service for eligible first-time Reborn clients, subject to suitability. A carbon laser facial follows its own menu and pricing.

Can I use a Reborn gift voucher?

Existing vouchers are handled as account credit by the team. Confirm the available balance and applicable conditions before booking. Holding credit does not automatically reserve an appointment.

How do I ask for advice before booking?

Use the contact form or call 0410 415 415 with the area and concern you want to discuss. An enquiry asks for help and does not confirm a reservation. Check the booking menu’s deposit and cancellation conditions before proceeding.
